Bad day today.


Windy Peak District, so only one of three shots done.
People sat down right were I was taking pictures, obviously mentally dim.
Waited for the bus back for 1hr, due to the 214 either being 15min early or just not turning up. 
Found a massive wavy 40cm crack in my Mac screen, which ok I can get sort but when can I go without my mac? Hand in 6th, another project hand in unknown, degree show 10-28 June?
Can't hang my washing out to dry because it will just get tree sap all over it and thats the only reason I have this washing anyway.
To finish it off I now feel a little sick from thinking a rather large easter egg would make me feel better...

I'll be doing my editing of footage in Final Cut Pro while matching the soundtrack to my edited footage in Soundtrack Pro. Finishing it all with a customised dvd in DVD Studio Pro, I highly rate these programs, simple to use, but not to simple, leaving you with a professional end finish.

CRAP with a big C !

I need one more day, just one more day of sun... please... one day, thats all I want ... one day, can I please please just have on day of blue sky this week...

Oh My Lord..

... I can't believe how much I ache right now, Iv'e just got in from 4th day shooting, and am pooped. Don't even want to think about working Propaganda later on :( boo hoo hoo
But anyway the animations I've done are looking gooood, not posting anything up on here until the 'trailer' next week, so you'll just have to wait and come to the Animation Degree show to see it in full. Aren't  I mean  :)

Me and Ian found ourselves on a rather overcrowded 215 bus to Surprise View yesterday, to go take advantage of thee glorious weather, whist doing work at the same time. I managed to get a few opening shots from my animatic for my final project and can't wait to get out there and animate now. Here is one of my favorite images from the day ...

Sneaky Peak ...... shhhhh

Firstly, sorry that its red, this is not purposly done but after 3 failed uploads and 2 red uploads, i thought i would just stick with the red version.

This is a test for one of my 8second shots from the first part of my animatic, as a first time shot i was really pleased. The animation took less time then i though it would and is rather smooth although shot at a 12 fames per second frame rate. This is the rate i will be keeping but i will also be investing in a web cam tomorrow as my Sony a330 is not compatible with iStopMotion therefore leaving me without onion skinning, making me blind shoot.

Eye See You

Been working on the final little finicky bits
Just not sure about the eyes now ... do i opt of real iris photos or go for hand drawn ones?
Real ... makes the animal a little more well real
Drawn ... gives it a bit more character, stands out a little more

I'll print them out and pop them on my models, get some opinions
This is what im up to today, eyelids, it's a waiting game, i think i can get away with 3pairs for each model, sooo 24 eyelids. Each eye is made from half a polystyrene ball, so the eyebrow will need to be rounded.
Half ball, wrap in plastic, layer of thick acrylic, let it dry, take off polystyrene, cut to lid size, hot glue fur on lid, trim.
